Metalshub looks back on three amazing days in Lisbon
On this year’s 33rd Metal Bulletin International Ferroalloys Conference, nothing was missed in the program! Three days of vibrant discussions, informative presentations about pricing trends, interesting roundtables with experts, amazing weather conditions, exciting fun activities, unique networking opportunities and more. This year, already more than 700 delegates participated in the event, which is 28% more compared to last year.
Co-founders Dr. Frank Jackel, Dr. Sebastian Kreft and Head of Operations Michiel Minnaar highly enjoyed participating in the event. It is the world’s leading ferroalloys conference, organized and hosted by Metal Bulletin, the leading provider of global metal and steel prices. Convinced by the event’s concept, Metalshub is proud to be one of this year’s sponsors.
During the entire three days of the conference, participants had the opportunity to get exclusive insights into the Metalshub platform launching soon. A great number of people gathered around the exhibition stand to see free demos and perform some testing by themselves. The majority was so fascinated that they registered for the platform on the spot. Metalshub furthermore provided some action at their exhibition stand by holding a goal-shooting contest. Everyone participating could shoot three times, the person who scored the highest won. We are proud to present Sascha Ewert from thyssenkrupp as the happy winner, who completely earned this title having managed to shoot three times out of three into the bottom right corner.

Apart from meetings, the conference’s general activities and goal shooting at our stand, the Metalshub co-founders were featured as speakers at this year’s conference. Addressing the current inefficiencies concerning procedures in the metals and ferroalloys market, the two innovators show solutions in their unique play-as-presentation held in the style of a TED Talk.
Ultimately, the Metalshub team can look back on three successful enjoyable days especially considering the positive feedback we received on the platform during that time.
