Metalshub price index committee

The Metalshub Price Index committee reviews the of the Metalshub Indices every quarter. As such, while the liquidity on the Metalshub platform and thus the indices accuracy increases, their relevance is maintained.

The committee consists of industry leaders from procurement departments, metals traders, and producers to reflect a balanced perspective on the market.

• Dr. Frank Ehrenberg , SVP Raw Material Procurement, Outokumpu
  Dr. Frank has over 26 years of experience in the mining and metals industry. 

• Lucas Netto, Group Supply Chain Manager, Magotteaux
  Based in Belgium Lucas is the group supply chain manager at Magotteaux and has over 14 years of experience as a procurement manager.

• Matteo Chareun, Commercial Division Manager, Euromet SA
  Matteo has been the commercial division manager at Euromet SA for 7 years. 

• Peter Schmelzer, Purchasing Manager, Gontermann-Peipers

• Rosalba Vizzini, Head of Purchasing, Rubiera Special Steel
  Rosalba is the head of purchasing at rubiera special steel and has almost 10 years raw materials procurement experience.

• Augenija Di Bucci, Commercial Director, Satka Group
  Augenija is the commercial director of Satka Group and has worked for over 16 years in the metals industry .

• Darya Malyutina, Market Analyst, Luma Trading
  Darya has over 10 years experience as a metals expert and is currently a market analyst at Luma Trading, one of the biggest Central European Silicon producers.

The Metalshub price indices are solely based on real transactions, bids and offers from the digital Metalshub platform, which is a fundamental shift in price reporting. The information is collected automatically without any journalistic work, e.g. telephone calls to market participants. This methodology minimises the risk of price manipulation and ensures a more robust picture of real market prices.
