GIFA 2019

During the last edition of GIFA in 2015, there were more than 48.000 participants from over 45 countries. This year the organizers expect over 80.000 visitors from over 95 countries, as well as over 1.500 exhibitors further strengthening the exhibition’s position as the innovation and knowledge transfer leader in the sector.

The quartet of trade fairs this year will focus on current and relevant topics, such as Industry 4.0, e-commerce within the steel and aluminum sectors, lightweight construction for the automotive industry and additive manufacturing, among others.

The so-called Industry 4.0, commonly known as the fourth industrial revolution, is nothing more than the consolidation of the Internet as the key means to make processes more efficient, specifically in terms of saving time and costs. In particular, GIFA will not only be an exhibition, but also a high-quality conference forum, with an emphasis on the latest technological innovations. It will give participants interesting insights on where the metals market is heading in the short and medium term.
